The Bank of England voted unanimously to keep current interest rates at 0.5% while maintaining its current asset purchase target at 275 billion pounds, according BoE Minutes released today.

The Minutes further revealed the BoE does not see inflation as a significant threat over the coming months, although some members differed on the immediacy of the threat. Moreover, the BoE warned that contraction in the Eurozone has now begun. Some members referenced the possibility of further quantitative easing measures in the future. In September, the BoE expanded its asset purchase program by 75 billion pounds.

Credit Reporting Agency Will Fully Oversee Private Credit Reporting Agencies

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- The Credit Reporting Agency Registrar's Office in the Finance Ministry will fully supervise private credit reporting agencies when it starts operations early next year, it was announced today.

Deputy Minister of Finance Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin said previously the agencies' activities were not monitored by any government agency.

They gathered information deemed non-confidential from public sources without any government supervision, he told the Dewan Negara today.

It has been our responsibility to go to school from the time we started to learn how to speak. But with our present economic status today, only a few can afford to go to college due to financial a problem because going into college is more expensive but yet it is the most important thing that one must went through to finish studies. The government understands this kind of situation so that is why they grant scholarships to the ones that are in need of such kind of finances and support. Although there are also those who can afford to send themselves to school, there are actually only a few of them.

But because the government grants scholarships, many of our less fortunate countrymen are also able to continue their studies and achieve their goals in life because they have been given the chance to finish a degree in college with the help of the government. The main reason why the government grants scholarships is that the government believes that the youth are the foundation of the nation. We all know how difficult life today is, and with the rising costs of most primary commodities paired with low salary, education is something that most people would not consider as a basic need in life. Instead of going to school, they would just use their money to fund more important things like food, clothing and shelter. Even though how intelligent or smart their child is, if they cannot sustain their education, it's useless.

The government has found the solution to education problems of the country. They are giving out scholarship grants only to those less fortunate people, students who need financial assistance, and to those who can not sustain the cost of college education. Government scholarships are already settled, the student will be the one to apply for it. During application, the government usually gives an exam to test those students who are willing to study in college. A student must pass the exam in order to avail of the scholarship. Usually during application, there are several requirements or credentials that you have to submit as a proof that you really cannot sustain college life like birth certificate, class card, monthly billing statements, and many more.

There are different kinds of scholarship grants that a student can avail. Example of this are working scholarship program, study now pay later, student loan, president scholar, and more. Many are availing for the working scholarship program because a student sees it as an edge to have work experience while still studying. For study now pay later, the government gives full credit to the tuition fees of the students and the student will be paying for it when he or she starts to work. In this article we look at the volume rate of change (V-ROC), and we'll focus on the importance of price movements and volume in the study of market trends.

In the last decade, we've seen triple-digit swings on the Dow Jones Industrial Index to both the upside and the downside. A newcomer to the science of technical analysis may not have realized that some of these moves lacked conviction, as volume didn't always support the price movement. Chartists are not the least bit interested in a 5 to 10% move in a stock price if the volume moving the price is a fraction of the normal daily volume for that particular issue. On the other hand, since the Nasdaq market volume reaches or surpasses two billion shares per day, significant price action will trigger the interest of analysts. If price movements are significantly less than 5 to 10%, you might as well go golfing.

Volume Trend Indicator
The volume rate of change is the indicator that shows whether or not a volume trend is developing in either an up or down direction. You may be familiar with price rate of changewhich shows an investor the rate of change measured by the issue's closing price. To calculate this, you need to divide the volume change over the last n-periods (days, weeks or months) by the volume n-periods ago. The answer is a percentage change of the volume over the last n-periods. Now, what does this mean? If the volume today is higher than n-days (or weeks or months) ago, the rate of change will be a plus number. If volume is lower, the ROC will be minus number. This allows us to look at the speed at which the volume is changing.

One of the problems that analysts have with the V-ROC is determining the period of time to measure the rate of change. A shorter period of 10 to 15 days, for example, would show us the peaks created by a sudden change, and, for the most part, trendlines could be drawn. For a more realistic look, I would suggest using a 25- to 30-day period; this length of time makes the chart look more rounded and smooth. Shorter periods tend to produce a chart that is more jagged and difficult to analyze.

The online news arm of media giant ABS-CBN has released its application for Android and iOS mobile devices, allowing mobile phone users to download news directly either via Wi-Fi or mobile Internet connection.

The app has a built-in Bayan Mo, iPatrol Mo (BMPM) ticker where users can type in their reports in a user-friendly interface that will be sent directly to the BMPM for verification and follow-up.

Twenty-five students enrolled in the Dakota Wesleyan Nursing Program received $33,000 in scholarships and seven Mitchell Technical Institute students received $10,500 in scholarships.

The Foundation provided more than $27,000 in program assistance for the 36 area teachers enrolled in the master's in school administration and master's in classroom teaching programs offered by Northern State University at the Huron site.

The remaining assistance from the Foundation will help with a paraprofessional training program, English as a New Language instructor certification, and an Intensive English Program cohort. All classes are for college credit and are from an accredited institution.

Named scholarships were awarded to Jackie Fenner - Barbara Davis Wilkens Nursing Scholarship; Miranda Regnier - HRMC Nursing Scholarship; Sara Hines - Irene Thaden Scholarship; Megan Lapka - Marian Roach Scholarship; Kendra Heydon and Angela Mott -Charlie Farrell Scholarships.

The Huron University Foundation is the remaining legacy of Huron College/University which closed in 2005. The Foundation was organized and incorporated in 1982 as a non-profit educational and charitable corporation and is directed by nine trustees.
