The National Society of Black Engineers is a student-run organization that offers scholarship opportunities in addition to information and resources related to their cause of promoting blacks in engineering.
If you are a black woman, there are some opportunities geared specifically to you. Black Women in Sisterhood for Action, or BISA, offers scholarships and grants to black women in urban areas. The Ethel Lee Hoover Ellis Scholarship offers awards to black women residing only in particular southern states. The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs offers many additional opportunities for black women.
There are countless more organizations out there that work to support black and minority students.
