Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Peoria Tuesday afternoon by reportedly handing a teller a note demanding money.
The robber held up the Compass Bank in the 10600 block of West Olive Avenue about 4:10 p.m., authorities said.
The 30-year-old teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash, and the assailant fled in a 2005 to 2007 teal Saturn Ion four-door car. Witnesses told police there was a blond female in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
The robber is described as a White male in his early 30s, wearing a white painter's hat, tan long-sleeve shirt, white washed jeans and white tennis shoes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
