Edinburgh City Council have reported the "malicious cyber attack" to police and said that no other council systems are affected.

Fraud prevention service CIFAS will contact 270 financial groups, who will check the details aren’t misused.
The council have written to people affected to apologise, but said there is no evidence personal details had been used.
They said: "This is a serious crime that could have potentially damaging consequences."
